Day 4-6- The Study Room, The Dining Room and The Bathroom

I’m currently doing 30 Days Drawing Challenge: Background/Setting for whole month of August.
Here is the link of the journal: reenacat.deviantart.com/journa…

Decided to upload it like this haha. Mostly sketches this time since I done them for study :D

Btw, I almost changed the theme for day 4th and 5th (The study room and the dining room) ^^;
Sorry about the colour, I couldn't figured it out what to use for them.
The day 4th, I tried to paint them all XD
and for others, I also want to use the same idea but I decided to sketch them up only.

Time: 3-5 hours

Paint Tool Sai

Character: Celia, Carrie and Anna (belong to ReenaCat )

Next, for day 7's and 8's, will be uploaded tomorrow. ^^

Between those days, I just went to the dentist to have appointment. at least I finally managed to get through it  >.<

Hiya!! Admin here to help you improve ^v^
These are super stunning!! I especially love the variety in strokes and textures found in the first one.
Anyway time to start!!
In the first painting, it's a little hard to tell what the girl is sitting on (whether it be a couch or the floor). If its a couch, then there would be a little bit of cushion visible behind the girl. The table wouldn't be as high either.
It'd be nice to see some highlights on the book as well as its barely visible, yet its in full view of the light source.
I would've gone and talked about the sketchy unfinishedness of the next two pieces if I didn't read your description XD So nothing to bad bout it there. It'd be super nice to see them finished tho, especially since the perspectives and composition are lovely.
I think it'd be super nice to add a little bit of Gaussian blur to around the focal point of each image, as it'll soften the background and make viewers focus solely on the characters. If you need any tips on how to get this effect by photoshop or sai, then feel free to ask. If you want to keep that rough textured background, then you can ignore this XD

I wish I had more to critique on, but backgrounds are far from being my strong point >A<
I absolutely love your work tho so keep up the great effort!!
Hopefully some of that small paragraph helped out.
If you have any queries or other works that need critiquing, then feel free to drop by our group again ^A^/
I hope you have a fantastic day!!
